Day Twenty-Seven of "31 Days of Love": Propping Up Knocked-Over Bikes

Bikes are very prevalent here at USC.

I myself used to have a bike, before it was pillaged by thieves and then impounded by the school police department.

For my day's act of love, I picked up and propped up bikes that had been knocked to the ground outside my dorm.

I know that it can be really annoying when you get back to your bike and someone rudely knocked it over and didn't bother to pick it up. This happened to me a lot and it always bothered me. IF YOU KNOCK SOMEONE'S BIKE OVER, YOU PICK IT UP!

Anyway, it started with just one....

Before...

After!

but then I saw a few others....

and then a few more....

and before I knew it I ended up propping at least a dozen bikes in front of my dorm. I think I got all of em in the whole bike parking lot!

You see this picture here? Do you see any knocked over bikes? Yeah I DONT THINK SO.

Oh and it was 3:40am at this time so if anyone was looking outside from their dorm room window, they probably thought I was plain crazy or trying to steal a bike hahha.

Although I doubt anyone saw and that none of the bikers will even notice, I think it's important to be a loving person and do acts of love even if the recipient will never know or acknowledge or praise you.

I think that is what integrity and humility is all about: being the same person you are regardless of whether people are there to see/acknowledge you or not.
