Today I woke up at 8 in the morning to go to church where I would help serve two rounds of meals at my church. I know I sound like a princess, but I usually wake up closer to 1 in the afternoon on Sundays, so it was a bit of a sacrifice on my part haha.
It wasn't exactly deliberate or original on my part, but both the Korea/Tanzania missions teams came out early to help get the food out of the kitchen, serve water, and clean up. It was an organized fundraising effort so we made sure to give our best smiles, manners, and salutations.
I did my best to offer my help where it looked like there was a need and generally tried to keep a good attitude the whole way, even though I was pretty tired haha.
Oh and we raised a lot of money! Praise God for the benevolent souls at my church.
I am very excited about this mission to Korea. I'll keep you all posted and up to date!
