Day Eighteen of "31 Days of Love": Feeding My Hungry Friend Donald

Today I fed my friend Donald.

I fed him the other day too, but he's yet to find his USC ID so he still has no access to his meal plan!

I think a big part of showing love is taking initiative and being sincere. So today I texted Donald from work asking if he'd secured his ID yet. He told me he hadn't, so I went ahead and asked him if I could get him lunch. He happily obliged.

Unfortunately, I used my last guest meal swipe on him last week so we couldn't go to Parkside.

Instead, we went to Tutor Hall for some sandwiches where I needed to use my dining dollars. I am running pretty low on these funds and so I've been rationing them so I can have at least $20 left for the finals season.

So I guess my act of love was not only just thinking about my friend and his need, but satisfying it in a way that wasn't convenient or preferable for me.

(I forgot to take a picture of my delicious sandwich until I had pulverized it completely. So here's my pickle)

At the end of the day, I'm pretty grateful not only for my meal plan and my ability to feed my friends, but also for a good friend like Donald, who offered to feed me sometime this week to pay me back :)
