Time for an update!
There is no school today as it is President's Day. So I am very pleased about that. I am spending this day probably at home mostly taking care of things. I am finishing up a scholarship application that's due tomorrow, updating my blog, spending some time in the Word, and maybe playing guitar/songwriting.
My last entry was pretty weird. I was not really in a "stable" mindset when I was writing that. A bit of an exaggeration, but I was really out of it. I think I will share later on. I still have yet to figure it out myself so I'd rather spend some time thinking about it first.
Anyway, I just started the book of Ecclesiastes and I'm pretty excited about it. I am having the whole praise team read it this week and from my skimming and reading of the introduction/preface material and first chapter, it looks very interesting and promising. Both on an intellectual level and a spiritual level. It questions the meaning of everything and basically seems to conclude that human knowledge and pursuits are all useless and meaningless. Although I cannot say exactly right now without having read it. So I will maybe record my thoughts and reflections here after I have read it.
That's just an update on my life's goings ons. I'm going to seperate my blogging today into two different entries. This entry is very trivial and simplistic. My next is a commentary on mankind which is probably a bit more profound and insightful than anything I have said in the past few paragraphs.
I wish I could be more succinct.
